Mission of Prince of Peace Parish SVdP Conference
The mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) is to provide service to people in need, and to advocate for social justice issues:
Serve people in need: The SSVP provides food, clothing, shelter, and financial assistance to individuals and families in need. They also offer opportunities for volunteers to serve their neighbors.
Advocate for social justice: The SSVP advocates for issues such as low-income support, housing and homelessness, and domestic violence.
Build a more just world: The SSVP seeks to build a more just and compassionate society.
Bring faith alive: The SSVP brings faith alive through service to others.
Tackle the causes of poverty: The SSVP seeks to tackle the causes of poverty where possible.
