Helping Hands of Prince of Peace Church

Prince of Peace has a group called Helping Hands to be of service when a parishioner may need help and family or friends aren’t readily available. If you have a need and don’t know where to turn, call the rectory at 330-825-9543 and leave a message. Our ministry could include a periodic ride to church, a doctor’s appointment, or groceries; it could include a meal if someone just came home from the hospital(e.g. surgery, pregnancy, etc.); it could include changing a light bulb or small repair at home, etc. All this depends on volunteers who are available to help. Please keep this group in your prayers as it develops its ministry of living out Jesus’ Gospel message of love.

Mobile Meals

Helping Hands of our parish has just received information on Mobile Meals of Summit County and it’s services. This program provides nutritious meals to many who are not in a position to cook for themselves. They can be delivered to you or you can go to one of their dining centers located at the Barberton Senior Center(330-848-3981) to eat and socialize. If you or a member of your family would like more information call Mobile Meals directly at 330-376-7717, toll free at 1-800-852-6325.

Their web site is: www.mobilemealsinc.org
