childhood crisis. An Elizabeth minister is paired with a woman needing support
based on a similar shared experience, and will then support and encourage that
woman on a one-on-one basis. Elizabeth Ministry serves as an outreach of the
parish community, and following the example of Mary and Elizabeth; we visit and
share the sacredness of all life. Throughout the generations women have
repeated this story. Elizabeth Ministry carries on this tradition of maternal
mentoring.
